This notice applies to all information collected or submitted to Canadian Niagara Hotels Group of Companies during the application/selection process, and includes all paper-based and electronic documents/information which you provide to us in the course of applying for and commencing employment, and specifically includes data collected by the Canadian Niagara Hotels Group of Companies Careers website, this website, and the transfer and storage of records to internal business electronic data storage devices created to ensure the protection and retention of your electronic data . We do not electronically collect all personal data. Some forms of personal identification- ( social insurance number, photo I.D, driver’s licence, personal direct deposit – bank account information ) are collected in a paper-based form to minimize identify theft related concerns.
Any information you as a candidate provide Canadian Niagara Hotels Group of Companies will be treated as confidential and only used for the purposes relating to employment matters. Once received, the Resort will not release personal information provided by any person outside the Resort without your consent, expect to Canadian government agencies if required by law or directed by a court of justice.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures and testing to safeguard and secure the information we collect both digital/online and in paper format, and all of our systems have been tested to validate data security protection.
Your Unique Data File - How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to your electronic data file or making corrections to any data which you have previously provided.
This system automatically password which is tied to your email address(username ) . The password is only available to you. If you forget this password, the system has been created for you – using the “Forgot Password” and a new password will be confidentially generated by the system ( not available to any person associated with the Canadian Niagara Group of Companies) and sent to your email address for you to immediately use.
You have ongoing access to the system at your convenience as many times as you require to complete and/or correct any errors which you have previously provided which is required in any segment until you complete the program – ( You’ll receive a Congratulations! Email indicating program completion. )
Shortly after the Congratulations email is generated by the system, all electronic data is transferred from this website to internal Canadian Niagara Group of Companies data storage for security and retention of personal electronic data. Once this data is transferred, you will not have access to any personal data which you have provided through this website.
Personal data can still be corrected, by delivering corrections to the Human Resources, Canadian Niagara Group of Companies team, located in the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel, 4th Floor, 5685 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
